Shipping, Delivery, Care & Returns

* SHIPPING, DELIVERY, HANDLING & MERCHANDISE AVAILABILITY:

Furniture: Floral Art Home furnishings are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks from your order date.  All designs are created by Jennifer McGarigle, are hand made in the US and can be customized.  Minor variations may occur from piece to piece as a result of their hand crafted, high end quality.  If an item is not available or will take longer than the standard lead time, we will notify you. Custom freight shipping is necessary for all furniture items and is charged separately at the time of ship. For a shipping estimate, please call us directly at 310-392-1633.

Merchandise Products: All non furniture products are shipped via UPSP or UPS, unless otherwise requested. Orders are processed within one business day. If an item is unavailable or on back order, we will contact you immediately. Shipping charges are estimates only.

Floral Orders:  At Floral Art we use only the freshest flowers. If a particular blossom is out of season or unavailable, our designers willchoose a substitution that preserves the spirit of the original arrangement. If substitutions affect the overall aesthetic of the design you have selected, we will contact you with additional options before the order is completed. Floral arrangements of a $75 value or more are available for delivery Monday-Saturday in the greater Los Angeles area only. For same day deliveries,  online orders must be placed by 12pm. Sunday and long distance deliveries (greater than 50 miles) may be arranged with advance notice (min. one business day). Additional fees will apply. PLEASE NOTE: If the recipient is not home to receive a flower delivery and there are no special delivery instructions, we will determine if the arrangement is safe to leave. If so, we will call the recipient to let them know where the arrangement has been left. In the case that an arrangement is not safe to leave,  we will call the recipient to re-schedule another delivery time. This may result in a second delivery charge depending on the location.  

* SALES TAX: Local taxes, if applicable, will be added to your order. Residents of the state of California will be charged applicable sales tax.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY:

Furniture: Floral Art Home furnishings are custom made to order and are non refundable. If purchased off the store floor, items may be exchanged or returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY with a receipt within 7 days of invoice date.
Products: All non custom merchandise items may be exchanged or returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY with a receipt within 7 days of invoice date. All bath & body product returns must be unused, unopened and in original packaging for credit or exchange. If a shipped item arrives damaged, a claim along with photos must be made within 3 business days to ensure replacement at no additional cost.

Floral: Floral arrangements are non refundable.

* FLORAL CARE:

Flower Care: Upon delivery, your flowers are ready to display. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and water daily. Most fresh floral arrangements should last between 4 - 7 days if properly cared for. Seasonal specialty flowers, such as garden roses and dahlias, maylast for 3 days.
Orchid Care: Provide your orchids with bright light, but avoid direct sunlight. At night, the orchids should be exposed to a temperature of 60-62 degrees. Daytime temperatures should be between 70-80 degrees. Orchids need proper humidity (60-70%) and air ventilation so it is recommended to open windows to allow the circulation of fresh air.  To water your orchid: It is preferable to water early in the morning so your orchids have time to dry out. Proper watering depends on the climatic conditions of where you live. In general water once every 7 – 10 days and pour the water directly at the base of the stem, typically about 1 tsp, or about the amount of an ice cube.

FURNITURE CARE: Lacquer and high gloss paint finishes are delicate and can easily chip so handle with care. To clean, use a damp soft cloth.  For acrylic surfaces, we recommend Scratch & Flash for cleaning and removal of light scratches. The images within each design are photographic and although they have been coated with a UV filter for protection, we do not recommend placing them in directsunlight.

Email Addresses: When a visitor gives us their email address, or sends us email correspondence, we retain their email address. We do not share our email lists with third parties for marketing purposes. We use email addresses to communicate with you regarding your orders and other matters regarding transactions between us or your customer relationship with us. We may also use your email address to share information about Floral Art products and services that may be of interest to you. You may opt-out of receiving such promotional messages from us at any time. If we do send you a promotional email, you will be given the opportunity to decline receiving similar emails in the future.

Visitor-Keyed Information: We retain information provided by our visitor, such as registration information, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) and contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number).
